The New Year in the tech world always brings its own surprises as industry giants compete to out-do one another with new services and updates.
Microsoft enthusiastically showcased this during its 2017 Ignite conference. With a focus on the Office 365 platform and the new releases native to the platform, considerable effort is being put into ensuring a user-friendly interface backed by seamlessly integrated apps for its users. This post will outline the latest updates updates for Office 365, with special emphasis on how each Office 365 service will be impacted.
User specific enhancements are updates dedicated to making the Office 365 interface easy to use for all types of people. These updates include;
Tell Me was developed as an upgrade in 2017, with the aim of providing users with a ‘command line’ for quickly searching and finding the tools you need to use with ease. Tell Me has now been made available for Android users who work with the Office 365 mobile app.

Enhancements to PowerPoint

The photo-realistic presentation of the modern world, is one that integrates the use of animation or animated objects to provide viewers with realistic simulations of one’s ideas. With the Morph transition tool, you can now easily animate your presentations without the aid of external third-party tools.
Upgrades to Agile
Excel wasn’t left out either. Upgrades have also been made to the Agile app to make it more intuitive for its users. These upgrades which span both the desktop and android include;
Microsoft Agile finally made its cameo in Office 365 at the tail end of 2017 with the task of making project management easy to carry-out on Office. Users can now make use of Agile tools to manage older projects as well as create new projects on Office 365.

Office 365 Updates in 2018 / 2019
So, what about the future of Office 365? During Microsoft’s flagship Ignite event, plans for the release of the 2019 version of Microsoft Office 365 were announced. The second quarter of 2018 will see users of the Office platform able to subscribe to this new version.
