Sub signatures are a new feature introduced in version 2.896.
Sub signatures are defined seperately to the main signature. You can link many main signatures to one sub signature.
Main signatures are 'Linked' to the sub signatures by 'Sub Signature Link Documents' (See (Creating a Link to a Sub - Signature?))

Create a New Sub Signature
To create a new sub signature go to the view 'Sub Signatures' and click on the action 'New Sub Signature'

Sub Signature Name
This is the name assigned to the Sub Signature. This must be unique.
Once you have assigned a name and created a link to this name you should not change the name.
Description
A free text description of the sub signature.
Type
The type of sub signature. The following options are available :-
All
The sub signature will be appended to all e-mailsInternal Users
The sub signature will be appended to all e-mails when at least one of the recipients is an internal user.External Users
The sub signature will be appended to all e-mails when at least one of the recipients is an external user.Member of Group
The sub signature will be appended to all e-mails when at least one of the recipients is contained in the group specified.NOT a Member of Group
The sub signature will be NOT appended to the e-mail when at least one of the recipients is contained in the group specified.Notes Formula
The sub signature will be appended to the e-mail if a Notes Formula returns @TRUE.
(NOTE: When adding Notes formulae the formula must not contain any carriage returns and single quotes must be used for strings.) From version 2.938 and above there is the ability to combine selecting a subsignature based on lookups and formula Combining Criteria.See Example Sub Signatures
Use HTML File
Allows you to import a HTML File for MIME e-mails see Use HTML FileInternal Users/External Users Check
The internal users and external users check is performed by examining the last domain of the recipient. If this domain matched the domino servers 'Mail Domain' then it is considered a match.e.g David Spence/Crossware@CW
@CW is the domain.
for an external recipient e.g david@crossware.co.nz
@crossware.co.nz is the domain.
