New Features in 2.925

In Version 2.925, several new features were implemented and are available from this version onwards.

New Type of signature configuration - 'Mutually Exclusive'

This configuration allows the the creation of a Default Signature in the main signature configuration but with the additional sub-signature being an alternative signature. If one of the sub-signatures evaluates to be appended then only that subsigature will be appended. If there are no sub-signatures to be appended the default will be appended. If more than one sub-signature is evaluated to be appended, the email will be converted to a standard Notes 'Non Delivery Report' with a 'Branding Error'. The user then needs to correct the problem and resend the email message.

New sub-signature types

Two new types of sub signature have been added:

  • Member Of Group (SendTo?, Copy To, BCCTo Fields)
  • NOT Member Of Group (SendTo?, Copy To, BCCTo Fields)

These use the existing 'Domain Groups' feature to determine if a sub-signature should be added, but use the SendTo?, Copy To and BCCTo Fields to determine if the sub-signature should be appended rather that the recipients field. This allows for the same sub-signature to be appended to the same email when two copies arrive at mail.box when mixing internal (ie. Rich Text) and External (ie MIME) recipients.

    Email Modifiers

This allows the modification of the email body of individual fields during the addition of the signature. See Email Modifiers for further details.
