Blackberry devices are supported in Crossware Mail Signature.

In order to use Rich Text and display images correctly on the Blackberry device the Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES) needs to be version 4.1 or above with certain patches applied and also the device itself need to be on version 4.5 or higher and a special configuration settings needs to be applied.

Sending Emails

When sending emails from a blackberry device the emails are sent in a Notes Rich Text Format. When the email passes through a server which has Crossware Mail Signature installed the Rich Text Version of the signature will be appended.

Receiving Emails.

Emails viewed on the Blackberry device which has had a signature applied by Crossware Mail Signature may not appear identical to the email viewed in Lotus Notes.

The Blackberry Device converts the email into a plain text for display on the device and any images will appear as below (with the name image #) :

In order to display the Rich Text and any images correctly the Blackberry Enterprise Server needs to be running Version 4.1.6 or above and the Blackberry device software needs to be (OS4.5 and above).
