What's new in Crossware Mail Signature Version 3.0?

    Crossware Mail Signature 3.0 incorporates mportant new features based on feedback from Mail Signature users, including:

    Local Signatures

    The Local Signatures feature allows the creation and distribution of signatures to any Lotus Notes client (v6.5 and up), Domino Web Access clients and Blackberry devices:

    • For Lotus Notes 6.5 and up, Mail Signature 3.0 can now append an HTML Signature File for Notes clients and a Plain Text Signature for Domino Web Access.
    • For Notes 8.5 Clients, Mail Signature 3.0 can now append a Rich Text Signature to the user's Calendar Profile and apply an HTML Signature for Domino Web Access Clients.
    • For Blackberry users, Mail Signature 3.0 can now apply a Plain Text Signature via the Blackberry Enterprise Server


    NB. Unlike server appended signatures, client side signatures are not tamper proof.

    Delgation of Signature Maintenance

    A new feature allows control over which users are allowed to modify a specific signature. This allows you to hand over control for signatures to you marketing department for example.

    Support for Windows 64-bit

    The new version will be available for a 64-bit Windows system and 64 bit Domino application files.

    Support for zLinux 32-bit & 64-bit

    The new version will be available for IBM z servers running 32-bit and 64-bit Domino.

    Improved User Interface

    We've redesigned the user interface to make the product easier to use.

    LDAP Lookup

    This new feature allows you to extract data from an external LDAP Directory

    Better Server Management

    The server log is now a coloured dashboard, providing a quick view of the status of each server that Crossware Mail Signature has been installed on.

    New Licence Management

    The configuration database will provide a warning if you exceed the number of allocated user licences for your organisation.

    Faster Server Performance

    For improved product performance, Mail Signature 3.0 introduces a new 'User Cache' option, allowing any selected user or group to be configured for cached lookups.
